What the CBCT is for
Cone-beam CT shows height, width, nerves, and sinuses. A flat panoramic is not enough. No CBCT on site → do not book surgery that day. Ask: “Is CBCT on site today?” — do not treat a brand name on a brochure as a guarantee.
From that scan the team may plan standard implants, angled full-arch, graft-then-wait, or specialty paths. “You still qualify” without a CBCT is sales.
